[Intel HD 5300, 5500, 6000] Get 2048mb VRAM using latest WhateverGreen+Lilu (framebuffer-unifiedmem)

Hi there, I m not a professional hackintosher started hackintoshing few day ago
So try it at your own risk
This guide is only for Intel HD5500 graphics, for other IGPU please follow the reference guide at bottom of this post.

Latest WhateverGreen & Lilu kext
Clover Configurator or any plist editor


Lets begin :
  • Open your config.plist in Clover Configurator
  • Goto Devices
  • In devices go to 3rd section
  • And select Properties Like in the screenshot

Add a value in Devices* "PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)"
And in its properties box add as below

Swift:
framebuffer-stolenmem  00003001
framebuffer-patch-enable  01000000
framebuffer-unifiedmem 00000080
AAPL,ig-platform-id  06002616
framebuffer-fbmem  00009000
and save it and then reboot
make sure Whatever & Lilu kext of latest version is installed before proceeding :

I have the same specs, can you share me your EFI folder, thanks...
There is nothing to do with the EFI I guess. This guide is posted by me but it was originally written by raaz1431994 so related EFI folder can be only provided by him. He has not joined our community yet.

Thanks for the guide.. it works. Geekbench scores are still the same though.
it "work" for me, but dont know is it really work or just display virtual number, :rolleyes::rolleyes:

unifiedmem is a framebuffer patch so this can't be virtual, If you see a 2048MB then congratulations your patch is successful.

my didn't work it still shows graphics display 4mb
You should first follow the graphics fix guide then only this.
